Hopeless Romantic

The guy who caused the shut-down at Newark airport just wanted to give his girlfriend a last kiss goodbye. Now he is facing a year in jail. I have no problem with that. But what about the TSA agent who wasn't doing his job watching the gate? This could have been a lot worse than what it was. What if this guy had a bomb or something? The agent should be fired. He could have cost many people their lives.

sleepless in minnesota

Have you ever had one of those nights that you couldn't fall asleep right away? You toss and turn for an hour. You close your eyes and nothing happens, then suddenly a bunch of crazy things run through your mind and you fall asleep before you can figure out what the thoughts are all about. I had one of those last night. I remember something about a purple dog, but that's about it.

It's below zero this morning. Global warming my ass. I hate winter but I must be a glutton for punishment. I've lived in North Dakota and Minnesota all my life. Maybe I'm just crazy.

you lose you pay

You have all heard about the "jailhouse lawyers", right? These are the people who go to jail for long lengths of time and work the library. They study law, because what else do they have to do, and then they bring all these worthless lawsuits forward and clog the court system. The law should change to be on of which if you bring a lawsuit forth and you lose, you pay the court costs, the time of the defendant, and any other cost incurred for that case. I think it would clean up the courts and speed other proper cases along.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out what would be better, snow on Christmas or sitting out on a boat fishing on Christmas. Hmmmm, let me think. Please hold while I figure this out..... OK, I was just wasting your time, I would be on a boat in a heartbeat.

Another winter storm. Just in time for Christmas. Yaaaay!!

My First Stuff

Since this is my first blog, I will just start with a few observations. It's snowing outside! There is a winter storm warning. This sucks, I hate, hate, hate snow. Or, I should say I hate winter, or at least winters in Minnesota.

I would love to be sitting on the beach in Jamaica right now.
